![]() ![]() Of course you can also build piuece by piece the fire station and Sedgewick Hotel. This is the best companion of the spooky pack DLC and the Studios Pack DLC. Over 400 new building pieces and scenery, including a bunch of animatronics based on the ghostbusters characters (Ray, Venkman, Egon, Winston, Slimer, Gozer, the terror dogs, a giant Stay Puft you can pose, a bunch of ghosts in the same style as the original movies.) and 4 different building sets with a ton of new york syle buildings and movie set dressings. This is the same ride we already have in the game, just with cars themed like slimer. The other ride is a slimer themed junior coaster. Theres going to be a free version in the update also coming today, but from what i heard, while more generic looking its themed around westerns. The ride is also available to build in 2 modes, stop and shoot (Toy Story Midway Mania style) and no stop FPS style (most of the shooting rides around the world, like the Sally Corporation ones). Not only that but you can also ride the ride and shoot the targets to get your own high score, with different targets giving different points and multipliers for not missing a shot. This ride is probably the most mechanicaly advanced made in the game, with guests actually shooting the tagets to try to get a high score. Added to this will be a new type of aimatronic called target, with translucents ghosts you can shoot in the ride for points (it comes also with more generic targets). The one build in the campaign map recounts the story of the movie and is really well made. ![]() 2 rides, a ghostbusters theme shooting ride. This park is inside the new biome, The City, were you will be able to build theme park with a city in the background (this one comes for free in todays update).Īpart fromn the campaing the DLC contains: A new map were the campaign takes place based on a theme park like New York, including the ghostbusters fire station, central park, Sedgewick Hotel and church with the giant Stay Puft mascot stepping on it. All this mechanics are not only available in the Ghostbusters DLC, but you can also bring them to your normal parks if you want, by ticking a box in the menu. They also can get trapped inside a haunted ride. ![]() Guests will get scared by random ghost populing the park and will not want to use you park instalations until you get rid of them. Rides get haunted now and you will need to hire a new staff member, the ghostbuster, and put containment units around the park so they can discharge the collected ghosts. This is really cool as neat unlockables were missing from the normal Planet Coaster campaigns. Completing the final chapter unlocks something special from what ive heard. Complete chapters to get unlockables, like being able to ride through any park the Ecto1 (this is similar to the famous driving buggy cheat in RCT3). ![]() This type of Campaign is similar to stuff in the Tropico series, for example, with Ray being your Penultimo and Walter Peck being a nuissance and making the chapters harder by, for example, putting taxes on your gains. They are story driven, with an ending and lots character intereactions and while the rest of ghostbusters are not present by voice, they have text giving you challenges in the middle of missions. 5 chapters with narration by Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stanz and William Atherton as Walter Peck, and written by one of the written of the 2009 Ghostbusters videogame. So this DLC is completely different from the rest of Planet Coaster DLCs that have released this past few years, as its probably the biggest (not counting ride count) and more complex, adding a full fledge 5 chapter campaign mode that contains new mechanics and is fully narrated: I know some people here wanted Planet Coaster to have an actual campaign mode instead of only being an amazing sandbox game, also im sure theres lots of Ghostbuster fans here tht would like to know what this DLC entails.įirst of, I actually visited Frontier last week to see this DLC and a few more stuff I cant go into much detail (cant talk about them yet, just mention that Zoo Tycoon fans should be excited forb the Planet Zoo at showing E3). ![]()
